COURSE OVERVIEW
Teachers will be able to pursuade others that computer science should be a part of every student's education. Participants will create computer science implementation plans for their organization (including possible barriers and solutions, K-12 scope & sequence, possible funding avenues, and teacher support).
This 2-module course is delivered online. Participants are encouraged to work on the course collaboratively in a group of 2-4 peers (optional).
Each module should take between 60-90 minutes to complete. A total of 2.5 PD clock hours for the entire course is suggested.
All projects, activities, and content are directly applicable to administrators working with K-12 students. At the end of the course, participants will receive a signed certificate of completion.
This course is recommended for K-12 administrators who would like to learn more about computer science education and how to start a CSforAll initiative in their organization.
